Pech David is the city's highest green area. Reaching 130m above the level of the Garonne, it offers an exceptional position for taking in views of the city, with the Pyrenean mountains in the distance. There are a number of footpaths through the wood, providing access to one of the city's most impressive viewpoints.

Located to the North-East of the city, this zone is particularly sports-oriented. Cycle tracks and various pitches are all available. People who prefer to take things a little easier can enjoy the fresh air and recharge their batteries in the shade of one of the many poplar trees.

This recreational area to the South-West of Toulouse is the city's largest green oasis. A sizeable lake provides an opportunity to try out a range of sports such as windsurfing, canoeing and kayaking.

Extensive sports facilities have also been set up around the lake (swimming pool, golf course, shooting range, etc.) and a number of paths provide walkers with a variety of different routes.
